St Ethelwold’s Fair Trade and Craft Fair

On Saturday, near the Extravaganza, there is a Fair Trade and Craft Fair in St Ethelwolds House (30 East St Helen Street).

You will find Fair Trade gifts, and local crafts including leatherwork, jewellery, textiles, knitted goods, wood, pottery, watercolours. Also local charity stalls.

Vale of White Horse District Council are investing £320,000 in the Abbey Meadow play area, with an area based on Abingdon Abbey, and another based on the River Thames and Abingdon Lock.

and the tennis courts.

VWHDC are also investing £1M in the Outdoor Pool in a separate project. Some preliminary work is already underway.

The Vale of White Horse District Council is giving people an extra incentive to shop locally for their presents this year by offering even more free parking days in the run up to Christmas.

In Abingdon that means that all the Saturdays from now until Christmas have all day free parking – 26 November and 3, 10, 17 and 24 December.
