Happy Birthday Churchy

Crowds on Market Place
It looked like somebody had put a mosque in front of the County Hall this morning.
Inflatable Church
But on closer inspection it turned out to be an inflatable church.
Puppet Show in Church
Inside there was a puppet show going on, and nearby were stalls put on by the Church in Abingdon and a big cake to celebrate the birthday of the church on the day of Pentecost back in the first century AD.

It is Pentecost tomorrow and there will be an act of worship at 3 PMĀ  on the Market Place.
Activities on the Market Place
As well as the church in Abingdon celebrations there was music from the Abbey Concert Band, Coffee from Costa and Coffee Republic, and a stall by Vale House who care for people with Alzheimer’s in Botley.
