Landmark Crane has gone

Landmark Crane has gone
The crane that has became such a landmark on the Abingdon skyline has just been moved from the development on Ock Street.

Iain sent me the news together with some pictures of the crane’s best moments – viewed from his bedroom window.
Landmark Crane has gone
1. Removing the main horizontal arm of the crane (with a mobile crane).

I went out to view the development this morning, in the rain, and saw for myself that the crane has gone.

Ice Creams and Burgers and face coverings (Abingdon and Wantage style)

Igloo Deserts
It is good to have a new ice cream parlour in Abingdon. Igloo Deserts and YourBurger share the same premises on Bath Street. The Ice Cream parlour is new this summer. YourBurger has been there for longer.

Nursery Shop open

New Ownership
The Nursery Shop is open and full of colourful stock. The big sale earlier in the year was not a closing down sale, as I reported at the time, but the sale of an ongoing business to a new owner.
New Ownership
Their clothing is ethically made from organic sustainable sources. There is also an online Nursery Shop.
