Last Saturday Abingdon Town F.C. looked to be doing OK in a 1-1 draw with Bracknell Town.
On Tuesday Abingdon United got their first league win of the season. It looked like things were getting better.
Today things were not so good. Abingdon United were doing OK in the first half. They went down to ten men after a sending off, and continued to play well. However in the second half they looked second best and ended up loosing 5-0.
Abingdon Town also lost 5-0 today away from home.
Abingdon can do better.
Looks like they are having a really tough time, glad that you are still there supporting the team.
I’m not now an ardent football fan (ex OUFC Season Ticket Holder) but enjoy the occasional local game.
Doesn’t the fact that the two clubs are both at the bottom of the league suggest there should only be one Abingdon team?
Ready to be shot down by experts !!
My thoughts are exactly the same as GJ, though not just because of the club’s’ present positions.
Somebody call Paulo Dicanio, he’ll sort them out.
what is the history of having two local clubs?
