Late back from work tonight so here is what can be seen late at night in Abingdon
Badgers in Stert Street have gone for the cuffs in pocket look.
The Abingdon Carbon Cutters are in the Commmunity Shop this week. That means freshly pressed apple juice if you catch them during the day.
The larger ‘New Look’ has no window yet but work is underway.
I hope by New Look moving into the larger unit will send a message to other larger retailers that Baingdon is open for business!
That was meant to read *Abingdon! 🙂
I like Baingdon 🙂
The Narrows was open today – looked surprisingly good. Also, saw new computer repair shop off West St Helens. We’re booming! Ha – to all the naysayers.
Shouldn’t it be Baindon No Htames?
If you call it by the shorter name people get it confused with the other Baingdon.
😉
The Narrows were open for a staff training session.
Great pub, friendly and welcoming. All credit to the architects, its worth a visit just to see how they have retained the history of the building. Food and beer were good to – pint of Abingdon Bridge £2.29 !
I liked the Carbon Cutters’. Time for everyone to get an allotment. Plenty down West End, too!
The computer shop on Lombard Street/West St Helen Street isn’t new – AAH have been trading in Coxeters for years. In the previous shop they could refill computer printer cartridges. Hopefully they’ll still be able to do it in the new shop.
Sally – AAH won’t be doing cartridge refills any more. Popped in to see how the work was going and had that confirmed. Shame. But Tesco’s gain I think.
