Spike sent me a picture of ‘Cold start on the 12/12/12 Masefield Playing Field‘

I got myself a free souvenir parking ticket with 12:12 12 Dec 12.

The Abingdon Herald of Wednesday, December 12, 2012 led with the story that there will be new traffic lights at the top of Spring Road.

Adfas (Abingdon and District Fine Art Society) had a talk on Beau Brummell at the Guildhall, and there is a production of Pratchett’s Wyrd Sisters at Abingdon College for three days.

During the day I saw one of the Solar Powered Christmas Trees being attached to Goffs, thanks to Abingdon-on-Thames Town Council. I believe they had a budget for 17 energy saving trees.

12/12/12 ended as it began – cold and frosty. The final picture is taken from the walkway across Abingdon Weir.
Did anybody notice anything to make a remarkable day of what was a remarkable date?
12/12/12 was the Saint’s Day for sound engineers (it’s the way I write ’em)
A nice glimpse of a day in Abingdon
Is anybody planning anything for 20 December – that is, 20/12/2012? At say, 20.12 of the clock?
What we need is a crowd of 2012 people….
I know someone whos 12th birthday was 12.12.12.
Made even more memorable for them.
