There was great excitement as children looked out from front doors to see Father Christmas. This evening he was to be seen round the roads near Kennet Road.

Friday 9th December : Appleford Drive

Yesterday, December 6, was a chance for many to celebrate the Feast of Saint Nicholas, whose life inspired the modern day Father Christmas. But I think St Nicolas school leave their celebration until Friday.
Wow, I remember him coming around our street in the early seventies, canned music and sleigh bells, shaking change in tins, it was great.
I’m glad they still do it, he must be very old by now.
santa is circling round my road, but never actually coming close. Perhaps i am not on the nice list.
Great to see Santa out and about in Abingdon
You must take part in a contest for probably the greatest blogs on the web. I will recommend this site!
