As one barber opens another closes.
Actually, The Charter Barber closed some time before The Cutting Bar opened so the comings and goings of these two businesses do not appear related.
The notice says “Farewell and Goodbye”
A big thank-you to all our customers for your valued custom over the past 10 years….
I will miss Abingdon very much.
…
I wish everyone the best for the future… Sara…
Does Abingdon really need another hairdressing shop?
It is a drop in hairdresser/barber. Done well in other towns. Cut price haircuts LoL…;-)
what like “Established” in Stert Street? Or is the new one cheaper? £8 for gents cut
I used to live in Abingdon but have spent 9 years in Brighton and Hove and am now in Lincolnshire. In all that time I have never had a good haircut unless I come back to Darren at Exclusive Hair…Lord, how I love that man! Unfortunately I can’t get back very often so have suffered some very bad cuts but have vowed now to let only Darren style it :o)
I suspect it won’t be there for long, especially when the costs for the Bury Street Precinct, sorry Abbey Shopping Centre go up to pay for its refurb. (will this ever happen?).
Being a drop in I suspect that means cheap. (undercut any others prices). Pun intended.
It’s such a shame for us that Sara decided to go back to the Isle of Man. She was such a good barber, and also trimmed my daughter’s hair for years.
she was good
I just went there today for a haircut…such a shame as she was the only barber here that actually did really sharp cuts!
A shame for Abingdon..but a bonus for the Isle of Man!
