UKIP Shop four weeks on

UKIP pop-up shop
About 4 weeks ago UKIP opened their Oxfordshire Campaign HQ in East St Helen Street, Abingdon-on-Thames. It was rumored that their charismatic leader, Nigel Farage, would be there for the opening, but another MEP (Member of European Parliament) did the honours.

I have been by the shop many times since.

There are 2 balloons, slowly deflating, out the back, but I have not seen any campaigning activity.

Those kippers, coming over here, renting our long empty office space, fiiling it with garish colours the like Abingdon has never seen.

Send ’em back from where they came from I say. Get rid of them and all the towns problems will be instantly solved.

btw is that Roger Helmer? The UKIP MEP’s all look the same to me.

If so he is quite amazing man, knowing more about the science of climate and climate change in his part time review of it, than the legions of scientists who study it as part of their full time jobs. Amazing intellect to just cut through millions of hours of work and study by some of the best brains in science over thousands of studies, research and hotly contested peer reviewed papers, and come to the conclusion that they are all wrong. Genius.

    No, it’s Alan Harris.

Do any of the other parties have stupidly outspoken members too? I am sure they do.

Ah Alan Harris, as I said, they all look the same to me. He is the one with the “interesting” facebook comments where someone (according to Alan) hacked his account and inserted two comments way before he was a public figure, despite the fact you cant pre-date a facebook post. Again amazing IT skills for the hackers, managing to insert old posts despite Facebook not allowing that to happen.

As for “outspoken” members, yes all the parties have their share, but Ukippers seem peculiarly prone, indeed they seem to recruit from those expelled from other parties. Neil Hamilton is a prize example.

Thanks James – it is good to hear, and be reminded that Labour, Conservatives, Lib Dems, and indeed all the other parties have their fair share of outspoken, daftness as well.
