The OX14 Deli has been closed for a couple of weeks now. The addition of a “To Let” sign confirms that our dedicated Bulgarian, Romanian, and Greek food outlet in Abingdon is now closed.
A notice in the windows says that the Bread, cooked presumably upstairs in the Greek restaurant, is now available at the Spar Supermarket two doors down.
What a pity. The bread and cakes were delicious. Yet another interesting small shop has not managed to make a go of it in Abingdon.
That’s very sad it didn’t last. I wish them all the best. 🙁
Yes – that is a shame – it was great food.
Great shame. Such nice staff and they sold really interesting things – and the best feta cheese. Which is apparently available at the Spar.
