The Abingdon Carbon Cutters are in the Commmunity Shop this week. That means freshly pressed apple juice if you catch them during the day.
The larger ‘New Look’ has no window yet but work is underway.
There has been some swapping around of shop premises as September ends …
The Natural Health Centre have moved from where they were on St Edmunds Lane.
They have reappeared in Coxeter House, on the ground floor, next to Behind Bars.
Across the way at Coxeter House AAH Printer Solutions have just moved out,
and are currently setting up shop at Lombard Street where Faulkner Photography were.
More shop moves are underway. How will it all end?
A number of Abingdon businesses could be seen outside their normal premises on the Market Place on Saturday. It is a chance to meet potential new customers. There was Dream Doors who can transform you kitchen, and Galaxy TechnO who sell electronic devices and accessories in East St Helen Street – and will buy your old for cash.
Can Do Martial arts academy also swapped their Dojo on Audlett Drive for a gazebo.
And among others The Complementary Health Care Practice had a day out from 94 Ock Street with their demo skeleton. Their practice includes a dazzling array of therapies: Massage , Osteopathy, Reiki, Bowen Therapy, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Reflexology and Aromatherapy.
There was an announcement on Kitsons website to say they were closing for a short while but that exciting changes were underway. On reopening the name Kitsons had gone, replaced with The O lives Restaurant. They serve authentic Greek dishes, grills, and fish dishes.
The entrance to this elegant upstairs restaurant, with historic beams, is next to Coffee Aroma on Abingdon High Street.
