On Monday 27 May, there will also be Bank Holiday walks and tours of the Lost Abbey

There is a variety of walks including a day walk to Sutton Courtenay, a morning nature walk through the Ock valley and an afternoon walk to Radley Lakes where there will be tea and cakes available.

Walks leave at 10:30 and 2:00. Book for your walk from 10:00 am at our gazebo in the Market Place. There will also be self-guided Explore Abingdon leaflets which appeal to young people of all ages.

I went to Ruby’s Vintage and Retro Fair at Greenham Arts Centre last Sunday. This is just the sort of event that Abingdon needs. I was so impressed that I will be having a stall (as a first timer) at the Guildhall on Saturday 8th June. Ruby’s will also be at the Guildhall on 14th & 15th September to link in with Abingdon’s Heritage Weekend. Spread the word!

    PS
I forgot to mention that Monday’s walks are FREE and provided by volunteers from the Friends of Abingdon, the Abingdon and District Twin Towns Association, the Ramblers, Abingdon Green Gym and the Friends of Radley Lakes. Now we hope the weather will be kind.
