Temporary Traffic Lights on Bridge Street for Gas Main Work

Gas Main Work
A wet start to Saturday and two men were down in the trenches working on the gas mains in Bridge Street. There have been temporary traffic lights, causing some queues, for the last week or so.

The Broad Face tweets “Again just to let everyone know,we are open and the work on the road has nothing to do with our gas-brunch and lunch today…”.

Yet another reason to commute locally by bike. Nice to see the work on the hole in St. Helen’s Wharf has almost been completed. But what a shame the repairs on the pot holes in the Vineyard were limited to so few of them.
Time to get the wet weather gear on and pop into town to shop locally,

Neil , on my way into town i come through Appleford where there were a number of pot holes, they filled some in but not all, even though the others were marked for repair! I realise they were probably on a different job sheet to be done at some other time but if your there filling in a few why not do the lot!!
