A few weeks on from the first report I see that the outside of the Nags Head pub has been renovated and redecorated.
The gold letters are secured back in position.
It was a good move to open The Nag’s Head riverside island – The Bridge – ahead of time with September being such a good month weatherwise.
The beer pumps look ready so the official re-opening cannot be far off.
I look forward to a pint there; it is great that the new landlord has taken this on. I wish him all the best.
Looking forward to having this pub back open. Can’t wait to sit by the river with a pint of Abingdon Bridge in the summer!

Totally agree, will be great to see the old place open again. I just hope they keep the riff raff and the stella drinking children out that casued the pub to close last time.
