A lot of promise? Are you kidding? This was the most puerile load of cack I have ever seen. In fact it was so embarrassing to watch that I turned it off after 8 minutes full of knob jokes and the very worst kind of toilet humour.
I'll be surprised if Tim Dawson can show his face in Abingdon again, given the damage he must have done to the town's reputation.
Well. I didn't like it but I was happy that he included the front of the Abingdon campus.
Agree with dave – it was awful, stopped watching after 5 minutes! Plus (and I am from up north) was is just me or was there not a trace of an Oxfordshire accent?!
But disagree with Dave in terms of damage to the town's reputation – as someone who works as a freelance I have the luxury of being able to visit Abingdon town quite regularly during the day and the 'worst kind of toilet humour' is usually to be heard from gangs of teenagers hanging about – usually at the top of their voices with every other word the f-word!
doesn't surprise me that it was written by a 19 year old! – it could have been set anywhere really as there wasnt exactly much abingdon on display.
I LOVE THIS SHOW, WATCH IT ALL THE TIME. AND ITS GOOD THEY PUT BIT OF ABINGDON COLLEGE ON IT. I GO THERE.
Well I like the program. Yes ok it is very crude, but also very entertaining.
I lived in Abingdon all my life, up until a few weeks ago, and i thought i was going mad when i saw a clip of Abingdon College in the program. It all makes sense after reading this web site though.
I thought it was very funny. It's sweet and the kids in it are refreshingly normal.
