Congratulations to Abingdon Youth Football Club on gaining Charter Standard Development Club Status. This is a further development from an earlier award and demonstrates the club has even better trained coaches, good management, and cares for the young people who train with the club, with teams at several different age ranges. The award was presented by the Chair of the Berks and Bucks Football Association to Chris Day (Youth Development Officer).
The club was founded in 1963, and moved to its current ground in Lambrick Way in 1985. Thousands of young people have already been trained by the club, and thousands more will probably train there in years to come.
