Afro-Caribbean Cuisine in Abingdon

A new takeaway/restaurant at Number 3 West St Helen Street offers Afro-Caribbean Cuisine. They have been open for about a week and had a trial run during the Abingdon Fair. I enjoyed my first meal this evening. The Curry Goat was tender, and the rice and peas were flavourful. Good luck to them in their new venture. Check out their menu at pappys.co.uk.

Brill – I think they are the same people we ordered from before they opened the restaurant the brown stew chicken was very tasty.
For years Abingdon only had a choice of fish and chips, burgers, pizza, fried chicken, Chinese or Indian, then came Thai and Mexican. It’s good to see even more variety. (and not another Costa Coffee/Starbucks/Burger King etc)
