This bun throwing event will no doubt be entertaining with a long historical tradition and be covered by local and national media. If only the Vale showed as much enthusiasm for other areas of Abingdon; I thinking of the proposed revamp of shops in the precinct, much talked about but never seems any nearer.

odd. I was told by a number of town councillors that it was “absolutely impossible” for anyone other than a town councillor to take part in the bun throwing. Seems this is not the case.
