Return of Model Railway Show – Morland’s Row Barge still showing

The 2022 Model Railway Show is on this Saturday. The event was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 and returns in 2022. All the details can be found at https://admrc.org.uk/exhibitions/abingdon-exhibition-2022

There are two more weeks to visit the Morland’s exhibition at the Abingdon Museum (up to 27th March). It includes THE OLD ROW BARGE sign from the Vineyard in Abingdon.

Wallingford also had an inn called THE ROW BARGE.

Henley still has an inn called the ROW BARGE.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has a Row Barge that was well used during the flotilla during the Diamond Jubilee in 2012.

There’s also a Row Barge at Woolhampton (between Reading and Newbury) – a very popular pub on the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Had in mind to go and film the Abingdon station model.
It is not there looking at the web site and £10 to make a YouTube video, wife won’t have it.
Did a drone up by the main line where the Abingdon branch joined, Now the nice long footpath/ cycle route past Radley lakes.

A follow up to that video. A no then. Model not there and quite dear.
