National Teddy Bear Day

National Teddy Bear Day is celebrated on September 9th.

On this special day, we can thank our teddy bears for their companionship, for being with us when we were upset during childhood, and getting us through some long dark nights.

Teddy Brown has been a member of our family for a very long time. On National Teddy Bear Day, I took him out to see Hugless Douglas at The Bookstore. Hugless Douglas is there to promote the Exhibition: ‘Drawing Stories; Fairy Tales & Wildlife’ by David Melling.

They are fantastic indeed, I still have a generous collection of memorabilia for an old Jazz musician I was quite the man. My Mother made me throw away the coconuts though!

Hooray for teddy bear day! Not sure quite what you are on about Timothy L’Shrew, but glad you have found a way to celebrate this occasion- personally I’d recommend a picnic next time with all your favourite bears, perhaps pack a couple of marmalade sandwiches, jar of honey or some tomatoes if you are so inclined
