This drone shot was taken from Daniel’s last video of the Kingsgate development, filmed two weeks ago. Since then the drone has been lost in the Oxford Canal.
I did ask Daniel how much a new drone cost and he said ‘too much’.
I cycled by the Kingsgate development this evening and was surprised how quickly and how green the grass has grown mid summer.
Traffic lights are still in place while the slip lane to the new entrance is laid.
The interactive sales map of the development shows that unit 5 is the first one to be sold. Units 1,2,4,6,7, and 192 are ‘For Sale’. The rest are for the future.
Was doing a same shot every now and then. Big wide angle to do a poor effort of building the place timelapse.
Try to get drone similar place in the sky. 45m up. Would be higher as things got built, cover up thge back bits. No job so can’t replace it.

Stupid thing decided to return to home. batteries where ok, run time fine to get back. No warning it wants to got 70m up, over head. 3m away!. and back 70m. Useful then. Trees above, No warning, normally get 10 seconds to cancel. Nothing. Hit trees 13m up over the water, You can guess the rest.
The thing was not 12m from me, about to bring back, up it went on its own, Stupid thing.
Perhaps readers/followers of this blog could contribute to a whip-round to provide Daniel with a replacement drone. Seeing how we have all enjoyed viewing his efforts to provide such excellent input that have appeared here. I would be willing to contribute if it could be set up to ensure it went to Daniel.

Will go out for a second hand one of the same thing. Got spare controller. 2 batteries. Case. Anything that was not flying and hit the water.
It will wait as no job since October 2019.
A few tit bits since over 4 months after but nowt since last march.
It will be replaced at some point if a job comes.
Get seen and a no or ignored mostly. Delights of job hunting.
160 quid on eBay best I seen.
I sold some bits for £165, those proberly over £450 but got a drone (same thing) off Oxford Gumtree. Friday.
