There was a very bright Bath Street as we strolled into town early this morning.
In the Stratton Way underpass, a knight of the order of the Holy Cross, and St Edmund of Abingdon were praying over a broken bike which somebody had left in their care.
A man-size badger was at the Market Place, waving at little children, and posing for the camera.
The badger was part of the BBOWT craft market on the Market Place and in the Guildhall. BBOWT stands for Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. Older readers may remember they were BBONT (N for Nature).
Also on the Market Place were representatives of The Abingdon Bridge with a stall letting people know what they do (they are an information, support, and training service for young people). They have a 2007 calendar costing £4.99.
The December calendar girl could be a future nurse.
