Millets Farm Centre was once just a Pick Your Own Farm and has expanded to do many things.
All the way down the A34 Millets Farm Centre has these Brown Signs. They imply it is the tourist destination in these parts.
They direct you at this point away from Abingdon not towards Abingdon.
Thanks to John for the pictures and the question: How did a pick-your-own get in before our town?
It's not very fair. Travellers might want to know where 9TP is too.
Another positive Abingdon event – Alan Titchmarsh is coming soon too. Mostly Books are running the event on September 25th. Tickets soon.
Well, it's all swings and roundabouts (I didn't mean that as a joke), but it's just a sign of the times. Things will pick up. There's worse shops to be had, and you're right Abingdon does have plenty of positive features.
Charming, man; shows what the town has been reduced to. But we still have one of the most marvellous waterfronts in the Kingdom.
And to make it worse this junction of A34 is named after.. .. .. Marcham!!
Loads of coach parties of oldies have tea stops at Millets! There's not enough tea shoppes in town to cater for them all.
I tend to find it (Millets)aMAIZEingly expensive, and always manage go to the garden centre at the wrong time to get my 10% gardening club discount.
