There is a new interpretation board highlighting the main features of the Albert Park in Abingdon, and some of the park’s history. The board has been donated by the Albert Park Residents’ Association. The park is looked after by Christ’s Hospital of Abingdon, and was created as a recreation ground for all the people of Abingdon.
A useful and interesting addition to the park. Thank you to the Albert Park Residents’ Association.
lovely park and tree collection but no where
close to park car for half hour walk round the Park
Sandra, yes it is a lovely park but how about cycling there? Or if you live in Abingdon walk there or get a bus? Park in the Charter or Audlett Drive and then just a 5-10 minute walk? So many options better than a car park which would spoil the park you wish to visit.
Sandra, you could park for free for 2 hours in any council car park. The nearest is about 5 minutes walk from Albert Park.
There is 2hrs free parking in Conduit Rd – one of the main roads to Albert Park.
