At Abingdon Rugby Club yesterday the clubhouse was full of interesting stalls helping to raise money for Thames Valley Air Ambulance and the Alzheimer’s Society.
There were lots of prizes on the raffle, including a short holiday and a Miele Vacuum.
Over £800 will be split between the charities, and Tara won the guess the weight of cake.
As a matter of interest where have the councilors for South Abingdon gone. They are not answering their emails. Emails were sent to them about the recent litter pick and not one of the councilors answered. I sent one to Neil Fawcett and did not get a reply. Samantha Bowing is not answering her emails either. How are we supposed to get in countact with them?

How quickly do we expect our councillors to respond? I reckon to allow others a week to answer. The digital world tends to make us expect the immediate. It certainly doesn’t encourage patience.
