Shop selling Southeast Asian ingredients

Udon Thai Market
The Udon Thai Market opened three days ago. It was previously a shop selling ingredients for Southeast Asian cooking. That has not changed but the layout has changed and it feels more open.

There are now three businesses in West St Helen Street that are proud of their Thai connection: Chaba Thai (restuarant), Abingdon Thai Massage, and Udon Thai Market.

I can think of at least 117 reasons to love Thai food! I love it at least 3 times more than any other food

Although I like Thai food I much preferred it when the Busy Bee was there and you could buy a newspaper, it was Brill πŸ˜‰

Busy Bee was a great newsagents. Always had a board of For sale/local traders etc. Sadly Don Brill passed away a few years ago and Anne is now in the Bridge care home. A lovely couple

Original owner was Mr Wixey, Brills bought it from him and I think I’m right in saying the original busy bee was next door where Orange Frog is?
Word on the street is the reason Boris was in town today was to promote the new Tory MP candidate for Ox west and Abingdon in an effort to overturn the Lib/dem vote that ousted Nicola Blackwood by 800 votes, he’s about to call a snap election!

Well…as long as that candidate can ‘write a strongly worded email’ to get Lodge Hill sorted, they’ll get my vote!

Of course, then all the political punditry can swing that however they see fit to sell newspapers.

Bozza may have been in town to try to shore up support for Tory candidate but said Tory candidate was not in attendance at the Party Only event behind closed doors at the Hilton Garden Hotel. It seems Tory candidate was showing the human side of modern right wing conservatism by being on holiday and getting engaged to be married.
