St Helen’s Mill flood wall completed

The Environment Agency and Vale of White Horse District Council have built a flood wall at St Helen’s Mill in Abingdon. It will reduce flood risk to homes at St Helen’s Mill and help to keep the access road to the car park open.

The last picture I have of St Helen’s Mill flooding was 7th January 2014. It could now be the last.

    Talking of Mill Car Parks,

Visited the Ock Mill yesterday, The Hotel and “Eatery” Car Park is now a Pay and Display. {Daytime} Private Car Park.

Following the same as the council, Parking is free after 6pm. All Daytime Patrons have to Pay, £2 for 3 hours, £10 all day.

Refundable on their first meal orders. A bit of a shock no mention on Websites. or when you book a table online.
