At the Local Excellence Market on Saturday about 25 stalls took part.

There was also a whiteboard about the election hustings.
In the last parliamentary election there were two hustings in Abingdon: one organised by the Church in Abingdon, and one by the Chamber of Commerce. This time, as they have not been given much time, they are working together on one hustings to which all candidates are invited. The deadline for the nomination of candidates is Thursday 11th May. So we will know then who will be invited.

including Nicola Potatoes. Nicola Blackwood will be standing again, as will Layla Moran. Labour have somebody new.

Results in for the three abingdon seats. All won by the liberals this year, although conservatives are nearly across the line to keep overall control of the council
