We do have a wide range of cuisine in Abingdon. Do many cafes and restaurants have a score on the door rating? I have heard that some open up and employees do not even have a certificate in hygiene. Are they regularly inspected? A person I I know was in a party that
went to a restaurant and all ended up with food poisoning. A person I know who had to visit cafes and restaurants was appalled at some of the conditions he found, such as kitchen floors swimming in grease and people cooking food whilst smoking and ash going into the food.

Janet, search for “scores on the doors vale of white horse” at google and you will be able to select for restaurants, takeaways and many other establishments in our area.

Janet, for peace of mind; as patrons walk through the restaurant Limoncello in Ock Street, they can see the kitchen. I have no connection with them.

Very interesting results – it will make me think twice about going to a couple of my regular restaurants! The structural compliance grade is going to be a challenge given the age of some of the buildings used for cafes/restaurants.
