The Card Factory in Bury Street is making a big thing of Father’s Day on Sunday.
While, the South Abingdon Children’s Centre is making a big thing of Dad on Saturday. They are putting on what dads, and male carers, with children under 5, like best … drumming.
Two people asked me to mention the Cumnor Craft Fair is on.
Trinity Church Fair is also on. As is the St Edmunds School Summer Fayre, and the European School Fete. So lots on for dads, and other people.
…just come back from the Dad event at South Abingdon children centre….another great little event run by these people. Excellent open fire cooked bacon rolls, and plenty to keep the boys busy too. I have never had to call directly on the excellent services they offer, under dire circumstances sometimes…but supporting them at events like this is a welcome insight to the value they bring to our community.
