Yesterday a family, from Ruislip, visiting a very wet Abingdon were having their picnic under the County Hall. They had hoped to spend time at the Abbey pool and grounds.
They were delighted to hear that there were some activities available for children in the museum.
Thanks to Elizabeth for the pictures and report.
Zounds, this is in clear breach of stringent County Hall health, safety and al-fresco dining bylaws from 1678. Get the old gaol reopened pronto….
😉
Hope they had a nice lunch/day in Abingdon.
This is quite a strange photograph. I don’t want to criticise the ‘diners’, but there’s something Third Word and spooky about this … it’s like… the next time I’ll be having someone knocking on my door and asking to put up a Maquee in my back yard.
They don’t even look like hippies and that should be a warning.
Yes diners remember – Abingdon is a local town for local people! 🙂
