Thanks to Backstreeter for picking this up and publicising it. It is a shame that whoever is organising it didn’t think to post it on either the town or Vale website events lists – or indeed anywhere else online that I could find. As has frequently been said here, if events organisers use these sites they will be helped by “knock-on” posts on other blogs, tweets etc . And yes, I know posters etc are needed too, but the Internet does help!

My son was told about it by the Job Centre – so I think many of those who are out of work will know about it.

I popped into the Oxford Vodafone and was told that they are just waiting on BT to fit a new phone line, turns out when the precinct was revamped they cut all the phone lines to the empty units. By all accounts the staff for the abingdon store are working in other stores until BT fits the line.

If you peak in the doors it certainly all looks ready!
