Back in December 2013 the turf was cut away. Then in April a wild flowers area was treated and created in the Abbey Meadows by the Carbon Cutters and friends.
There are now the first of the flowers with walkways between – mowed in quite a formal way.
I think we should be glad that organizations such as Carbon Cutters are so active in the town. Great to see that there are efforts to maintain and improve our environment here. Especially at a time when we seem to be hearing often about local nature habitats being destroyed.
