Justin, the Abingdon town centre postman, finished the 100 mile sponsored run, from Richmond to Oxford, along the Thames Path in 26hr 02min 16sec.
Thanks to Alison for a picture of Justin arriving in Abingdon, with his daughters, where there was a waiting crowd soon after 9am this morning.
Thanks to Geoff, Justin’s work colleague, for a picture of Justin accompanied for the last 9 miles from Abingdon to Oxford by James Phillpott of the Amber Phillpott Trust.
There were lots of others runners, from all parts of the UK, passed by the feeding station at Abingdon, where Justin’s supporters gave them all a cheer.
One of them said “It easy really!!! I’m just making it look difficult” as he hobbled on his way.
Donations to Justin can be made at uk.virginmoneygiving.com/JustinLovstrom.
Well done Justin. What a fantastic achievement.
Such a good cause. Thanks, Backstreeter for keeping us all informed.
