Yesterday’s home game at Abingdon Town FC was postponed.
The Abingdon Parkrun, which starts and ends in Rye Farm Meadow (shown above), was cancelled. Organisers said “The risk to safety is too great to stage this weekend’s event.
Moored Boats appear to have survived without the scaffolding used during some previous floods.
There have been having some good sunsets and sunrises – picture taken this morning at the Abbey Meadows.
Thanks to David for the final picture taken yesterday morning at 9:30. He says “The stranded boat that was in Abingdon has moved on again and is caught in the safety fence before Culham weir.”
