Outside the Unicorn Theatre in Abingdon miniature snowmen have been left to their fate. The first one to melt appears to have been dosed with red food dye.
By the next day the three in the centre had got frizzled by the sun.
There was a message near the snowmen which read ’20-23 June @ Unicorn Theatre’ .
As Agatha Christie said in one of her books, ‘And then there were none .’
The Abingdon and District Musical Society have two concerts this March. One was on the 10th March, but I have at least got something out before the second concert.

The play is set at the time when all Europe was troubled by the Napoleonic Wars, and takes place in a rather prim and proper town. J.M. Barrie’s comedy is about love and its loss, and was written before Barrie’s more famous work Peter Pan.

Last Saturday, James White and others from the Abingdon Science Festival were in the Community Free Space. This year’s festival runs from Saturday 10th March to Sunday 18th March. On the first Saturday, on Abingdon-on-Thames Market Place, there will be a Science Market with a lot of science activities and displays. The following Saturday there will be a Science Dome showing films on the Market Place.
