Stratton Way southbound was resurfaced and new white lines painted.

A scaffold was placed around St Helen’s Mill Bridge.

The railings in front of Long Alley Almshouse were repainted. Public works were also happening on the church porch roof.

Rubbish Incinerator

Sutton Courtney against the Incinerator protestors have been out and about to let us all know of a Public Meeting on 25th March at 7:30 pm at Abingdon Guildhall… A last chance to have our say.

The proposed incinerator would be only 4 KM from Abingdon, and right over Sutton Courtney. A big worry is the toxic particles the incinerator could put into the air…

The new shop on Stert Street in Abingdon have just added the words “Ladies Fashions for the Fuller Figure”. The designs look very colourful.
