Abbey Brass are delighted to announce that they walked away with first place for the unregistered section of the Oxfordshire & District Brass Band Association’s Entertainment Contest last Sunday. They won the same section in the winter contest, too!

Thanks for putting this on the Abingdon Blog, it was a good day for the band and were well deserved 1st places. We are now looking to push on from this and will be registering to become a competing band in the new year. This means we start off at the bottom of the 4th division and work our way up the leagues by doing well in national contests.
Very exciting times for the band and we will make sure the people of Abingdon are kept up to date with our progress.
