On the Market Place in Abingdon today and until late is the 4th Free Music Festival “Yeah Baby”. First picture shows the Blind Dogs Blues Band (from Sutton Courtney, Drayton, and Wantage).
For the first time there is a beer stall on the Market Place – so a bit of a trial.
Money is being raised for the Festival Charities which are all on the Yeah Baby Website
Florian Stoermer ran a Marathon and a half, ending on the Market Place soon after noon, and raised over £2,000 for the charities. The sun is warming up now. The early rain is gone.
There will be lots more bands through the day.
Another great event in Abingdon Market Square. Well done to the organisers for their hard work and especially to those people who took part. It’s wonderful to see the Town centre so lively – the entertainment was great.
Great to see such a fabulous event raising money for some very worthwhile local charities. Congratulations to everyone involved.
