Caldecott Rec is soon to be renamed as the Queen Elizabeth II Park. Recent changes, such as the new fence, and horse trough, are being made by Abingdon-on-Thames Town Council to allow people with horses to do show jumping outside the football season.

Did this come from the same source that reported installation of refrigeration equipment to turn the Marina into an open-air ice rink each Winter?
I’d heard it was to be called the Princess Anne Arena and the horse trough was sponsored by the princesses Eugenie and Beatrice

Is that official? It has been submitted for consideration alomg wirth Boxhill Park and Woods. I asked for the park and Monica Lovatt suggested including the woods, as we can nominate as many areas as we want. I had not heard that anything had definitely been decided.
