Oh and also the Post Office was open, but not sure if they closed the other branch.
Went into it today and it was nice inside. They was offering free cake and had a stand to be a member of Coop. I noticed people from Woolworths there which was nice.
Good to see more choice for food shopping in Abingdon. However, Coop now own Somerfields stores and apparently their policy is not to have more than one store in any one locale. Will it mean the closure of Somerfield?
it seems like forever since the co-op had their closing down sale – i managed to kit out my first flat with plates and cups on the cheap! – I wondered if the staff had gone elsewhere in the meantime or simply made redundant
I was suprised to see the post office open today, i thought they where staying where they where for a bit longer. they seam to be coping with the que as well. I was a little confuse with the que in the shop. Other than that its nice to have the coop back.
