Last night at the Guildhall there was a good crowd for the first ever Comedy Abingdon with MC: Paddy Lennox and three other stand up comics.
It was a cabaret style show with people sitting at round tables. At the Guildhall bar they had boxes of two local brews: Abingdon Bridge, and Loose Cannon Pale. The two acts pictured above, including Paddy Lennox on the right, were particularly good. Profits go to local schools. Well done to the organisers and we look forward to more.
Agree that Paddy Lennox and Ronnie Golden were particularly good. It was great to see all ages there, all laughing at the same jokes! Fingers x’d that more events are held in the hall.
