Under new management (formerly Annie’s), the newly-redecorated Riverside Cafe enjoyed a busy May Day morning thanks to the sunny weather.
Customers went to the café for coffee and cake and to enjoy the sunshine on the riverside patio.
Swallows were giving the customer a spectacular aerobatic display near Abingdon Bridge, some landing to gather stalks to make their nests.
Abingdon Riverside cafe is a really lovely place with nice tea, coffee and cakes. I would urge people to support it.
Nice eaterie in a delightful spot. However, “Cinnamon Bun’s” with the rogue Apostrophe jumps off the page in the same way as an upside-down Union Flag !
As a member of AAAA, no doubt I will get snowed as a Pedant.

Seven of us met at the Riverside cafe , Abingdon.
Viktor made us feel very welcome and the menu choice was just what we needed.
