The circus posters appear to be everywhere in Abingdon at the moment…

On a boarded up window along Ock Street the circus posters has even replaced the usual D&B, Dance, Trance, Rap or whatever else is happening in Oxford.

For a few hours there were even Oxford circus posters hung in the Community Shop. It is the weekend break before the Oxon and Bucks Wood Carvers take their turn.
We need to fight these Circus fly-posters. They make me want to go for the juggler…
Unless they have the permission of the shop owners / tenants – which is highly doubtful, as they just push them through the gap at the top of the metal doors and door frames and paste them over the windows of empty shops – then, this is illegal under the Town and
Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007 and if it’s that much of a problem, then the Vale should pull its finger out and do something about it.
always tickles me that the most exotic thing they promote on the poster is… some budgies!
guess it’s better than using elephants and tigers though.
