Looks like somebody tried to set light to the Charter Multi Storey Car Park in Abingdon last night. There is an area cordoned off just inside the entrance with the charred remains of traffic cones and other combustibles. As a result there is some soot and the White Horse is looking smutty, but the carpark is mostly undamaged and in use today.
Idiots!
It was looking quite grim inside on Saturday too, no lights on downstairs. I believe it and the Westgate Centre are both good tips for getting through to the play-off stage of the Grim Multi-Storey Carpark league.
Apparently this caused £8,000 worth of damage.
Mainly to electrical cables/supplies etc.
