Abingdon Artists’ Autumn Exhibition

The Abingdon Artists’ Autumn Exhibition is on from Tuesday 25th October – Saturday 29th October in Christ Church Barn, Northcourt Road.

Jonathon said, ‘Abingdon Artists is very democratic in that everybody’s work is accepted. It is not one of those exclusive exhibitions where works are chosen by a committee. They trust you here to not put something in you’re not proud of, and so lots of artists can have a go.’

Artists each put in up to three works. For some, it might be their first exhibition, while others also exhibit here and at more exclusive exhibitions. Artists also make cards and prints of their pictures so that people can buy the original or a copy. There are also paintings, mounted but not framed, in a folding rack to be flicked through.

Abingdon artists meet regularly to paint and sketch together and go on outings and attend lectures on art. More information at https://www.abingdonartists.org.uk/.
