The adjoining email said … “We ‘monstered’ our District Drill competition last Sunday winning 2 out of 3 sections and coming second in the third!“
While people queued up to register for the cycle rides at the Abingdon Freewheeling Spring Festival Nikki Loy entertained the crowds.
Good to see the Market Place getting used on a Sunday as well as the more usual Monday, Friday, and Saturday events.
There were cycle rides for all ages and abilities, special guests, entertainment, film, food,
stalls, sports massage, and cycle maintenance.

Both the Anglo German Club and European Society have a program of talks which might interest those who like culture. Up to 20 Scouts and Guides and leaders and parents helped in the first sort of the Abingdon Scouts Christmas Post on Monday at Christchurch Hall. You have until 12 noon on Thursday 16th December to post your cards in the special boxes. The second and final sort follows that evening.
