Coseners House


Cosener’s House and the view back across the Mill Stream.

Finally Cosener’s Houses itself. A place for conferences, weddings, meals and hospitality. It took it’s name from the Cosener, that is the Cuisinier or Kitchener (the official responsible for providing food for the Abbey). It is owned by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), formed in 2007, following the merger of the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council and some other august scientific Council.
