Yesterday I passed by Abingd0n Scho0l as they prepared for the 2009 Leavers Celebration – a Venetian style Masked Ball.

Today, the masked party goers were all gone…

as were the cars. A £120 release fee for this one must have added to the expenses of the day.

Above the Abingdon County Hall a flag has been flying to celebrate Armed Forces Day

– today 27 June. Following from this, Dalton Barracks are holding an Armed Forces family fun day on Saturday 4th July.

The Mama Mia Market has been in town over the weekend –

first time there has been an Italian Market in Abingdon.
