Features quite a lot of pictures of the River Thames in Abingdon. Instead of music the backing track has the Town Crier, traffic sounds, and walking in the snow.

Excellent pictures, Backstreeter. The almshouses at night – fantastic.
Now that various councilors have tried their hands at being entertainment impresarios and spent large chunks of the town’s treasure on consultants it’s a relief to see they’ve finally got some professionals in to do it for them:

The cinema is very comfortable. It is nice to be able to see current films without having to drive to Didcot or Oxford. The venue is also conducive to hosting live shows. At last an asset for Abingdon.
I see that there are open weekends in the Guildhall this weekend and in two weeks time http://www.abingdon.gov.uk/abingdon-news/abingdon-thames-town-council/guildhall-reopens-after-refurbishment
I will be especially interested to see the Old Magistrates Court and the beautiful staircase.
